Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the effect the colour of the packaging has on the way the drugstore product is perceived. The thesis describes theoretical basis for a packaging as well as psychology of colours. The market of shower gels and their packaging are also featured here. Furthermore, there is an analysis of the effect the colour of the packaging has on the consumer. On the basis of this analysis, there are recommendations for the use of colour on the shower gel packaging.
