Ivan Fencl, Ph.D. The subject of the bachelor thesis is the analysis and assessment of the safety and fluency of the operation at the current state and the design of two variants for improvement of traffic flow and safety at the intersection of Ostravska and Lazecka streets in Orlova city, in the scope of a technical study. The first part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the description of the current state and to the traffic engineering survey with the presentation of the composition of traffic currents. In the second part of the thesis there are elaborated new solutions for increasing the safety and fluency of traffic, including simulation of operation in PTV Vissim program.
