Abstract

This thesis focuses on the application of international methodology for cluster performance assessing. The work explains theoretical background of clustering, main characteristics of the clusters and how is this topic perceived in economy, heading to need for cluster assessment. Subsequently the existing methods and approaches are presented. The practical application of the methodology is then implemented focusing on specific cluster organization. This contains analysis and comparison of its current state of performance on an international scale, leading to proposals and recommendations to increase its performance in future.
