Abstract

The topic of the bachelor thesis is a characteristic of the melting and casting of non-ferrous metals and waste generated during processing. It focuses primarily on the technology used in the production of ingots and castings of aluminum alloys and describes the ways and possibilities of waste management throughout the whole production process. In modern plants, where they introduced the most advanced technology, waste generation is minimized to the absolute amount and there are also used finishing methods and techniques that are able to deliver these wastes back into production or removed without subsequent impact on the environment.
