Environmentální vzdělávání jako nástroj udržitelného rozvoje

Abstract

The main theme of this diploma thesis is the environmental education and training in nursery and primary schools. The theoretical part deals with the initial concept of sustainable development that builds on the core theme of work which is environmental education and awareness. The work explains the origin of environmental education, its evolution over time and the basic principles. The key chapter of the work deals with evaluating the state of environmental education in a statutory city of Frýdek-Místek and, based on the analysis, creates proposals and recommendations for improving quality of services. The paper uses secondary and primary data which were obtained by questionnaires and telephone interviews with professionals in this field.
