Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the fire ventilation of mass garages by jet fans. The individual chapters describe the division of garages, technical requirements for the design of mass garages, fire safety of mass garages, fire ventilation, ventilation of mass garages by jet fans and mathematical models of fire. The final chapters are devoted to the modelling of fire ventilation of a mass garage by jet fans and to the summary and evaluation of the knowledge gained from the modelling.
