Abstract
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of using chosen geofactors in the area of interest for the needs of land-use planning. This area is affected by black coal mining heavily, and therefore it is ideal for studying negative impacts of this activity for both present and planned development. In general chapter, nature conditions of the area are mentioned there, in order to understand better the mutual influence of mining and the landscape. The history and present mining in this specific part of OKR are mentioned there as well. Next chapter is focused on explaining of the methodology by which the results described in the main part of the study were reached. In this main part of the thesis the sinkings of the land and building site categories in the relation with present and planned development, in relation with engineering-geological zones are evaluated there as well as and slope deformations in the area of interest. Each of the four partial map lists is separately measured and at the end of the thesis there is an evaluation of all geofactors in the whole area of interest.
