Abstract

This thesis deals with the problems of power supplies for the crossing safety devices, provided by photovoltaic panels. For this purpose, the consumption of the most common crossing safety devices in the Czech Republic was calculated. The data from long-term measurement of the test crossing, fed by photovoltaic panels, was also processed. Based on this measurement, a power source for crossing safety device type JLC (production of AŽD Praha company) was designed.
