Abstract

This work is focused on the stability of photoactive composite based on the clay mineral kaolinite, which contains various amounts of TiO2 and final technique preparation. Besides the traditional hazard assessment of this material by waste legislation of the Czech Republic, was also observed the influence pH of extraction agents on release selected elements, especially titanium. Stability of materials was examined by leaching the materials in the water and in the extractions agents prepared from hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid. The results of this experiment showed that the titanium is fixed in both materials very stable even though the effect of extraction agents with pH 1. The amounts of released elements (Al, Si, K, Na and Mg) on the pH of extraction agents was not the same for all examined composite materials. Similarly, the type of extraction agent had different effect on each material. From the introduced elements, was the mobility of Si as the least affected mobility by the extraction agent and the most affected mobility by the extraction agent were the mobilities of K and Mg.
