Abstract

The thesis pursues the problematics of organizing the revitalisation works in a municipality area. The theoretical part delimits public administration and further the term of municipality with an extended authority in solving exceptional scenarios. It summarizes the forms of aid, whether being international, governmental or voluntary one, that can be utilized in the region revitalisation. The practical part focuses on the current state of the revitalisation problematics in the areas of municipalities with extended authority in the South Moravian and Moravia-Silesian regions. At the end of the study, a methodology is formulated that can be utilized by the local government authorities to help organize the revitalisation works. The methodology itself is a part of the thesis appendix.
