Abstract
Financial analysis provides profile information about the financial situation of the business. It processes data from financial accounting and extends its explanatory ability. The results of the financial analysis are to evaluate the overall performance of companies and their financial situation. The company can then implement appropriate measures based on these results.
The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial situation of a selected company over the period 2005 - 2010.
This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, various concepts are defined, as well as subject matter and methods of financial analysis. The second part, the practical part, describes a selected company and its specific analysis and evaluation of final results.
