Abstract
The thesis focuses on sewage sludge and filter cake treatment in galvanizing plant. Currently, metal recycling is very up-to-date field of focus, especially when it comes to industrial waste, which is not being processed using highest possible technologies. The theoretical part covers the topic of surface finishing and describes processes at zinc-galvanizing plant.The experimental part is focused on sewage sludge zinc and iron recycling processes, specifically the hydrometallurgy, using acid-based leaching method.
