Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to assess the implemented modifications to the roundabout Horní - Dr. Martínka in Ostrava. The work will include an analysis of traffic and video analysis of conflict situations. It will also be conducted capacity assessment intersection will be developed simulation model in the PTV VISSIM and the work will be completed drawings. Conclusions will form a proposal to amend the intersection to improve safety
and traffic flow. The first part is theoretical, the second part will evaluate
the above-mentioned activities.
