Abstract

In the submitted thesis I compiled the list of used quality control systems and recommended the application of the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) to the Czech Customs. In the first part there is mentioned the historical development of these systems and there are described the systems of the quality management based on the ISO9000 Norm and Total Quality Management (TQM). Also there is shortly characterized the Czech Customs and described its competences that are connected with customers, citizens and other interested persons. This is followed by the analysis of the present state of the Customs Administration in term of the quality control systems. In the next chapter there is a recommendation of applying the control system to the whole organization by means of the CAF. In conclusion there is described the recommended method of CAF application and some basis of introducing the quality control systems.
