Abstract

Czech Republic 1. 5.2004, became part of the European Union. This step is committed to compliance with the rules and laws of common policies, which include the common agricultural policy. The theoretical part focuses on the situation before accession to the European Union and the description of the mechanisms, operation and financing of the Common Agricultural Policy. The practical part of the thesis deals with the Czech agriculture changed after the Czech Republic joined into the European Union, and how agriculture responds to the regulation, regulation or incentives for the Common Agricultural Policy, which must be observed. In conclusion, the paper also outlined organic farming and quality food brands that are gaining more and more supporters. In conclusion are briefly described subsidy programs that are related to agriculture.
