Ochrana obyvatelstva pod vodním dílem Pastviny

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the protection of inhabitants living below the Pastviny dam. The first part defines safety regulations on floods and basic expressions, then the issues related to the safety of the waterworks and the examples of failures follow. The second part deeply focuses on above mentioned Pastviny dam and includes all the important technical data needed for the solution of the related matters. Moreover, the risks concerning the dam operation are evaluated and the protection of the inhabitants is described. The final part involves analysis with the outputs helping to the more efficient protection of the inhabitants against extraordinary events connected with the mentioned waterworks.
