Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is economic evaluation of selected investments in the production company. The company is focused on the surface dividing of metal sheets by means of CNC laser machines, then also on bending on CNC press machine and welding. The thesis consists of five parts. The first part contains introduction after which follows brief characteristics of the company. The third part is divided into the theoretical part and the part which is describing production facilities used in the company. The fourth part deals with the analysis of investments into the production facilities. There are used the most common methods of assessment of investment efficiency. Finally, in the fifth part the chosen investments are appraised and there appears also a statement where is considered if the investments are for the chosen company effective.
