Abstract

The content of Bachelor thesis is assessment of the financial position of the Company Trakce, a.s. by the financial analysis methods. The thesis uses analysis of absolute indicators and analysis of financial ratios and it focuses on the pyramid decomposition of ROE using functional methods. The result of the financial analysis shows that the company is in the period unstable. By 2010, the company moved on favorable terms compared to industry average values and reaching and positive economic result, but the following year the company's financial situation began to deteriorate in the last two years is negative profit. The company should focus primarily on reducing operating costs, and also should evaluate whether the high amount of debt needed or is it better to bring down.
