Tvorba OSM s vrstevnicemi v dlaždicové struktuře

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a map base using data from OpenStreetMap and contour line data provided by the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK). The main objective was to generate a clear and efficient map composition emphasizing terrain visualization, pedestrian and hiking routes, and to export the result as tile-based map output in MBTiles format. The thesis describes the selection and processing of spatial data, including coordinate system transformation, data merging, and visualization using QGIS. It also includes a comparison of suitable tools and techniques, along with a discussion of unused alternatives. The final product is designed for offline use and can serve as a foundation for further development of mapping applications in mountainous terrain.
