Financial Analysis of Selected Company

Abstract

This thesis focus on two financial analysis methodology and one company: common-size analysis, financial ratio analysis and Lenovo company. The target of thesis is assessment of financial health of Lenovo company. Besides introduction and conclusion, the thesis divided into three main parts: first, describe financial analysis methodology, it contains vertical common-size analysis, horizontal common-size analysis, financial ratio analysis and DuPont analysis. Then, introduce Lenovo company, it contains Lenovo’s history, structures and business, also male common-size analysis of Lenovo company in this part. At last, applied financial analysis methodology in Lenovo company, calculate some key ratios, obtain the financial situation of Lenovo company from 2008 to 2012 .
