Abstract

The topic of this thesis are " Types of polymers in the automotive industry, the possibility of their processing and subsequent use" The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first one there is presented the history of plastics and their use. A large part is devoted to the characteristics of polymers, their properties and their use in specific parts of a car. The second part of the thesis is focused mainly on the issue of recycling. It describes obstacles, challenges and alternative solutions for the future.
