Začlenění nevyužitého objektu městských jatek v Ostravě do kulturní krajiny

Abstract

This thesis deals with the problem of technical and culturally historical integration of unutilized building of the city slaughterhouse located in the central part of Ostrava as a listed building and an object of monument zone. The goal is to prepare for the transformation and possible future utilization of this building in accordance with The Local Plan of the city of Ostrava. For this purpose, the work follows certain known opinions and questions regarding brownfields as well as history of the above described object. An analysis on the current state of this historical building will be done, followed by a proposal on any possible future utilization.
