Biotechnologické aplikace mikroorganismů v textilním průmyslu

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the biotechnological application of microorganisms in the textile industry. It deals with the issue of the textile waste, especially wastewater, which forms the largest component of waste generated by the textile industry. The thesis describes the use of microorganisms in the production of the modern textile materials. Since the use of synthetic dyes is environmentally unfriendly, microbial pigments and their use in textile dyeing are analyzed. It also includes a description of bacteria, fungi, algae and cyanobacteria used for the biological remediation of textile waste water. The thesis also deals with the use of enzymes from microorganisms in textile production.
