Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of classification and identification of COVID-19 symptoms from X-ray image data using of artificial intelligence methods. The introduction of the diploma thesis contains basic information about biological and epidemiological aspects of COVID-19. The next chapter in the introduction summarizes the methods for segmentation and classification of X-ray image data. The introduction is followed by a review that contains recent methods for detecting and classifying COVID-19 symptoms from image data. In the main part of the diploma thesis, an algorithm with a prediction model is created, which with the help of artificial intelligence can classify the symptoms of COVID-19. In the end, this model is tested on real data and its efficiency and robustness are evaluated. Finally, the results of testing on real data are also evaluated.
