Abstract
Today's IPv4 adresses are insufficient. So new IPv6 protocol was evolved. It obtain much more adresses and presents new features. This thesis deals with advantages of IPv6 especially with routing protocols and also suggest laboratory tasks for routing. Detaily is described the routing protocol IS-IS. Transit IS-IS to IPv6 is its advantage and it offers other interesting features.
