Znalostní systém pro podporu rozhodování v problematice výběru vhodné terapie

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis was to create a design of fuzzy-oriented knowledge-based decision support system in the problems of selecting appropriate therapy for patients suffering from colon cancer. The designed system reflects treatment procedures at the Clinic of Oncology in the University Hospital in Ostrava. The thesis is divided into several parts in which the specifics of colon cancer are described, the current state of the therapeutic methods and an overview of the factors influencing the selection of appropriate therapy. There is also described expert system as suitable artificial intelligence tool for decision-making support of solving problems including description of necessary mathematical tools of fuzzy logic. It also includes description of created system that consists of model for decision-making support designed in integrated development environment LFLC and the graphic user interface made in MATLAB.
