Kriminalita páchaná ženami.

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of women's criminality and their specific position in the context of crime. The aim is to assess gender differences in crime, characterise the most common crimes committed by women and identify the factors that lead women to offending, using criminological theories. The thesis also focuses on prevention options and recidivism issues, with an emphasis on the penitentiary and post-penitentiary care system. The practical part uses qualitative research in the form of a collective case study of three women who have served prison sentences. Using content analysis of their life stories, patterns of criminal behaviour are identified. It also includes a statistical evaluation of the development of women's criminality in the Czech Republic and its comparison within selected countries of the European Union.
