Abstract
The aim of this study is to evaluate the technical requirements for fire hose according to ČSN 80 8711 and ČSN 80 8715 and their comparison with the requirements of DIN 14 811. The work is divided into five parts. The first chapter maps the incident statistics from 2009 -2010. The second chapter gives a breakdown of their hoses and testing according to Czech standards CSN. The third chapter deals with the distribution and testing of fire hoses in accordance with German standard DIN. The fourth chapter offers a comparison of Czech and German technical requirements for fire hose according to selected criteria. The fifth section lists the comparison evaluation standards. In conclusion, the results are summarized and compared to standards defined practical recommendations for the future.
