Abstract

This bachelor thesis is oriented on data logging that arrivals from serial interface RS232. These data are saved to any memory medium (in these case it is an SD card). The main goal of this project is to develop a hardware unit and utility software, which will make possible data logging to already mentioned memory medium. It is possible to transfer these data and display on regular computer. Theoretical part is devoted to hardware components used in this project and the practical part describes concrete implementation at microcontroler Atmel ATmega32. The utility software is in libraries, which have been written in programming language C.
