Abstract
Drying wood in industrial process ovens is that significantly affects the quality of the product timber. Artificial drying of wood is done in a setting of technological equipment of the drying process is a complex technological issue, where necessary, adjust the drying process effectively and simultaneously with the production and marketing of the entire race. The kiln dried wood with the help of hot air and the moisture is released from the timber. With this release of moisture occur in lumber tensile forces that cause defects. The drying process is set so as to minimize defects. One of the promising, yet is virtually unused hygrophobic wood. Like water-repellent agents used to protect wood against external moisture and provide breathability wood was our intention to examine the effect water-repellent the drying process. Our preliminary opinion was that the hydrophobic coating should stabilize moisture loss over time, strengthen weak points of cell wall permeability and ensure uniform evaporation. The overall impetus of our work is to increase the efficiency of the drying process and increase productivity.
