Abstract
The aim of this thesis is analysis of integration process in Europe and its development. Thesis includes the definition of theoretical principles of integration process in a global economic context. The progression of integration groups in Europe after the Second World War is also included in this thesis. The main part of this work is however focused on the beginning and shaping of European Union and also the prediction of the possible scenarios in terms of future development of European Union. Another important topics mentioned in this thesis are current problems in EU, such as crisis of Euro zone and possibility of acceptance of other applicants. The crisis of Euro zone is the main connection link common for the possible future scenarios. Due to problems in EU and deceleration of integration process the impact of EU membership on 12 newest members is also mentioned. The most important output of this thesis is evaluation of current development of European Union and also evaluation of economic impacts resulting from EU membership.
