Abstract
The dissertation thesis deals with the topic of augmented reality. This not very well-known technology is represented and presented by its application potential. The reader learns about the hardware and software for this technology step by step. Also an interesting applications in the field of augmented reality are introduced. From a practical point of view, this work focuses on creating an operating instructions for an extinguisher used in critical situations, that would be either suitable for presentation purposes, such as for fire safety, or as a demonstrative aid for children at elementary school. In the course of writing, I had been contacted by a professional company engaged in fire-fighting techniques. This added a great value to my work as it had been extended with tutorials from the professional revision technician. In the processed operating instructions sheet the steps required for the revision of the extinguisher are described. This sheet is also a part of the proposed system for support of the work of the review technician. The thesis itself contains the elements of augmented reality.
