Měření pulzní vlny pomocí radarových systémů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on contactless pulse wave measurement using radar systems. The ob- jective was to verify the capability of detecting cardiac activity via radar sensors on a simulated vascular model. For selected measurements, radar data were compared with pressure signals ob- tained using a pressure sensor. A physical model was developed to imitate human arteries with pulsatile water flow, where different heart rates were tested. Radar signals were recorded and ana- lyzed. The results showed a good correlation between the set and detected pulse wave frequencies, confirming the potential of radar technology for non-invasive cardiovascular monitoring.
