Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of recruitment and selection of employees. Theoretical part is concentrated on the process of recruitment, selection of employee and completion of selection. The main attention is paid to the role of personnel department, the various methods of recruitment, required skills and documents. Then to the selection methods, from an interview to the assessment center, the validity of methods and evaluation of efficiency. System of recrutiment and selection of employees is analyzed by Municipal Police in Orlova in practical part. Necessary information about the individual steps of recruitment and selection of employees were obtained by interviews with personnel manager. Employee’s opinion on this system was found through questionnaires.
