Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to get acquainted with the basic lumped matching networks, especially L, Gamma, T a Phi matching networks, to formulate a computing apparatus determining the values of individual elements and to evaluate in which situations to use appropriate type of matching network. Furthermore, I want to implement a software application which would perform the computation of these elements according to processed computing apparatus. Given solution allows to automatically distinguish the type of matching network, calculate the appropriate values, append electrical schematic diagram to this data and mark the point of given impedance on Smith chart. The results of this work should represent a simplification of the work with lumped matching networks.
