Energetika a napájení Letiště Ostrava, a.s.

Abstract

This Master thesis presents local distribution network of the Letiště Ostrava a.s. (The Ostrava Airport Company). The theoretical part provides an analysis of the distribution network and wiring parameters. The area of the network transition to a higher voltage level and restrictions of operating losses of conductors caused by the network transition to a higher voltage level are described. The following chapter includes calculations of short circuit ratios according to the Czech technical standard ČSN 60909-0. The practical part describes the Letiště Ostrava distribution network. The calculations of short circuit ratios in individual airport substations are presented and losses during operation of cables on different voltage levels quantified. The concluding section of the thesis offers recommendations for the future development of the Letiště Ostrava, a.s. distribution network.
