Abstract
The aim of this thesis is a computer verification of a foundry mould casting process in the company of Slévárny Třinec,a.s., by the aid of the simulation software MAGMAsoft. This thesis focuses on homologation of verification accuracy of any internal casting defects occurrence by the aid of a simulation software at the two types of castings and validation of results at the real castings. Some casting defects of the two casting types are presented at the first stage of this thesis. Consequently, a simulation model, according to the former technological strategy is created as well as the software check on the result. In case of a software confirmation of any casting defects presence, then a new model is created with the use of an upgraded foundry technology. The result of the upgraded software simulation is compared with the real condition of a new casting at the last stage of the thesis.
