Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the biocenosis of activated sludge from two small domestic wastewater treatment plants. Wastewater sampling was performed from June 2019 to March 2020. When evaluating individual samples of activated sludge, the type of flakes formed and the representation of different species of organisms were determined. The presence of certain types of microorganisms in activated sludge indicates the effectiveness of the wastewater treatment process.
