Abstract
The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis with the title „Financial Management of the
University” is to describe and analyse management of a university. In the first part
the Czech educational system and its financing is described, in particular focusing
on Czech universities. The second part of the Bachelor’s thesis
analyses management of the chosen PalackýUniversity in Olomouc in particular
academic years. The third part evaluates the results of the analysis of
the PalackýUniversity’s management and provides the proposals for increasing the
efficiency of management. Based on the results, the comparison over the period of
five years: 2010 – 2014 was carried out.
