Abstract
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a Matlab algorithm for children centre with visual impairements in the Eye Clinic of the University Hospital in Ostrava. The treatment procedure has already been utilized in clinical practice for several years, however, its major disadvantage is the incapability of saving patient's data from exercise. Another disadvantage is that the exercise must be performed in the clinical department due to mechanical device utilization. Therefore, a software for the optical proximity corrector has been designed, based on the mouse-tracking algorithm. Movement tracking of the mouse is conducted in the form of lines and symbols overlapping with the pattern contours. Such a designed and elaborated algorithm facilitates the storage of the results for further data processing, which is one of the main reasons for subsequent software assessment and further therapeutic treatment in the field of ophthalmology.
