Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of a selected company using the modern method of financial analysis, particularly the method of Economic Value Added. The first theoretical part introduces the basic methods of evaluating a company. The second theoretical part is focused on the EVA method presentation and its formula’s calculation. The practical part describes the process of the realization of the calculations. The conclusion evaluates the effectiveness of a company using the EVA method and a recommendation for the next advancement.
