Dvůr v Hukvaldech – „Ideální dvorec“

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is the creation of ideally conceived space with primary denominators "human and nature," "human and landscape," "human and soil." It concerns the creation of ideal geometric conditions for newly created genius loci akin to the surrounding countryside. The initial part of the assignment focuses on romanticizing renaissance with an abstract transformation and character-sense shift of "decorative estate" or ferme ornée, architectonically as much as theoretically oriented idea on the origin of the architectural concept "colere": idealized farmyard with a well-preserved an archetype of a farmhouse in a broader sense, characteristic for its geometry and unique architecture, not just in the context of roofs and their gables.
