Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to analyze the causes and consequences of counterfeiting and forgery of money and to come up with further options, which could lead to the supression of counterfeiting and forgery of money. The first chapter describes the history of money and other terms related to counterfeiting and forgery of money. The second chapter is devoted to the analysis and examining the causes and consequnces that affected counterfeiting and forgery of money. The economic implications have been divided into micro and macro. Legal consequences of counterfeiting was divided in terms of administrative and criminal. The description of criminal offenses is described in accordance with the new standards of the Criminal Code. The last chapter is devoted to the possibilities which bring the minimizing of the counterfeiting and forgery of money including also present the security features. In this chapter I also use potential opinion based on analysis of the causes and consequences of counterfeiting and forgery of money, which can reduce the counterfeiting activities.
