Abstract
The goal of this dimploma thesis
„The Usage of Price Indexes in Business Practice“ is to analyze and to set how to use price indexes in business.
Basics of statistics and economic statistics, theoretic part of price indexes and inclusion
of price indexes is explained in theoretic part of this thesis. Samples are created from data
from company VÍTKOVICE HEAVY MACHINERY a.s., to explaine some possible situations how to work with price indexes.
