Přestavba křižovatky ulic Okružní - Fryštácká ve Zlíně

Abstract

This thesis focuses on reconstruction the intersection of the Okružní Street (III/49018) and Fryštácká Street (II/490) in Zlín to roundabout. Two possible suggestions were prepared. The goal of these suggestions is to make left turn easier, enhance security and guarantee capacity for 25 years. First part of the thesis focuses on carried out traffic research and it’s evaluation, prognosis of traffic intensity for the prospective period, accident analysis and evaluation of the current intersection. The next part focuses on individual rebuild suggestions. The first suggestion is a roundabout using current bypasses. The other suggestion is rebuilding to a spiral roundabout. The traffic capacity was verified using beam curves in Autodesk vehicle tracking system. The conclusion focuses on comparison of both suggestions and recommendation of the reconstruction proposal.
