DNS server v IPv6 prostředí pomocí GNS3

Abstract

The puropse of my bachelors thesis is to describe DNS services for IP addresses in the environment of IPv6 protocol. The environment of IPv6 protocol is getting more spread over the world. Theoretical part is focused on description of IP addresses, routing protocol OSPFv3 and DNS system itself, to which belongs DNSSEC connected with NSEC3 record. Practical part describes, how to work with the environment GNS3 together with virtual machines using operating system Ubuntu, which are instaled in the VMWare Workstation. Further there is described configuration smaller computer network, which consists of five routers, three switches and three virtual machines from which one works as DNS server and two as clients. The last part is dedicated to the verification of functionality of the whole network and its machines. The main enphasis was given to DNS server.
