Modelování úniku směsi vodíku a zemního plynu z potrubí

Abstract

The thesis deals with the impact of a mixture of hydrogen and natural gas on a gas pipeline and the simulation of scenarios if there is a leakage of said mixture. The aim of the thesis is to assess the safety aspects of the operation of a hydrogen-natural gas mixture in a gas system. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the current status of the mixture transfer by pipeline in the world, discusses the physico-chemical properties of the mixture and its influence on the pipeline properties, describes the nature of a leak of the mixture from an underground pipeline and possible methods of leak detection. The practical part of the thesis defines the leakage scenarios and the parameters that are used to simulate the scenarios using two simulation software. The results of these simulations are summarized and compared with each other. Practical part ends with with the suggestion of safety measures for the operation of pipelines transporting a hydrogen-natural gas mixture.
