Abstract

This thesis focused on evaluating the properties of ceramic materials used for armor combat techniques, namely fracture toughness. It has been used technique Vickers indentation using a generalized relationship Liang et al. An integral part of the check in question hardness types of ceramic samples. The evaluation was carried out on three types of samples based on Al2O3 supplied technical Research Institute of Protection Brno. It was a ceramic material labeled KMS 98 domestic and two foreign production types marked CORBIT 98 Italian production and ALOTEC 99 German production.
