Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the monitoring of glucose concentration in relation to the measurement site. Repeated insertion of the sensor into the same area of the body leads to the formation of fibrotic tissue, which can lead to inaccuracies in the measurements or a significant time delay in the recorded values. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the measured data and their subsequent evaluation. Based on the processing of these data, an overall analysis of the results was performed to assess the extent to which the presence of fibrotic tissue affects the accuracy of the measurements compared to other sensor insertion sites.
