Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to perform strategic analysis of Viroplastic CZ, a. s. and on that basis of formulating proposals for strategic alternatives for the company. First, I deal with the theoretical background of strategic management, which serves as the basis for elaboration of practical parts. The practical part is already applied specifically to the company Viroplastic CZ, a. s., producing plastic closures for the food industry. It is an analysis of external and internal environment of Viroplastic CZ, a. s. and the results are summarized in the SWOT analysis. The next section is compiled forecast of the business environment for the years 2010 and 2011. Based on all of the information are formulated two strategic alternatives - a strategy of expansion and stability. In the last part, named recommendations for implementation, I recommend for company the strategy of stability and set down further valuable recommendations on the implementation of this strategy.
